Beloved Women of this World
The messenger of Allah peace be upon Him said:
“Women and perfume are beloved to me from this world, but the coolness of my eyes lies in the prayer.”
The quote is written precisely four times in the traditional 15th century Jali Diwani Arabic calligraphy script, arranged to form a woman wearing a gold dress.
Celebrated British Author and Islamic scholar Habeeb Akande commissioned this text for the cover of his latest book, “Women of Desire”.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: حبب إلىَّ من الدنيا النساء و الطيب، وجعلت قُرّة عيني في الصلاة.
كتب هذا الحديث مكررا أربعة مرات بالخط العربي الديواني الجلي ليشكل بها جسم إمرأة ترتدي فستانا ذهبياً.
طلب الكاتب والباحث البريطاني الشهير” Habeeb Akande” كتابة هذا النص على غلاف منشوره الأخير في كتاب “Women of Desire”

Femmes bien-aimées de ce monde
Le messager d’Allah que la paix soit sur Lui a dit :
« Les femmes et les parfums me sont chers de ce monde, mais la fraîcheur de mes yeux réside dans la prière. »
La citation est écrite précisément quatre fois dans l’écriture de calligraphie arabe traditionnelle Jali Diwani du XVe siècle, illustrée pour former une femme vêtue d’une robe en or.
Le célèbre auteur britannique et érudit islamique Habeeb Akande a commissioné ce texte pour la couverture de son dernier livre, « Women of Desire ».
