Neitsche’s Abyss
The following quote is written in Jali Diwani Arabic calligraphy radiating from the center point.
“And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into thee.”
The German philosopher Freidrich Neitche’s famous observation from Beyond Good and Evil (1886) is written in the traditional 15th century Jali Diwani Arabic calligraphy script precisely twenty-one times in eight concentric circles emanating from a dark eye formed by the harakat of the text. The quote comprises the second part of the 146th aphorism, the whole of which reads:
“He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby becomes a monster. And if thou gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into thee”.

الاقتباس التالي مكتوب بالخط العربي جالي ديواني الذي يشعّ من نقطة المركز.
“وإذا نظرت طويلًا إلى الهاوية ، فالهاوية تنظر إليك أيضًا”.
تمت كتابة هذا الاقتباس الشهيرة للفيلسوف الألماني فريدريش نيتشه من كتاب “ما وراء الخير والشر” (1886) بالخط العربي التقليدي للقرن الخامس عشر “الخط جالي ديواني” تم كتابته تماما 21 مرة ضمن ثماني دوائر متحدة المركز ومنبثقة من عين مظلمة شكلتها حركات النص. يشتمل الاقتباس على الجزء الثاني من القول المأثور 146 ، والذي يقرأ بشكل كامل كالآتي:
“من يحارب الوحوش فليحترس خشية ان يصبح وحشًا. وإذا نظرت طويلًا إلى الهاوية ، فالهاوية تنظر إليك أيضًا “.
