Zuhair heart

Four lines of love poetry by Bahai Al-Din Zuhair (1186-1258) are written to form the shape of an anatomical heart.
Zuhair was a celebrated poet from modern-day Iraq and was also regarded by many as the best calligrapher of his time.

“I fell in love with you, not from a vision that you offered
And the heart perceives what eyesight does not perceive
I fascinated you with abstract descriptions
At the heart, there are meanings that have pictures
People have mentioned what you have in mind
My thought was imagined above what they mentioned
When will my eyes see from you, what my ears make
The news explains what has been the most beautiful of the news
