It is the first feature-length film made by a female Saudi director. Wadjda is a 10-year-old girl living in a suburb of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. She dreams of a bike, she wants the bicycle desperately. But Wadjda's mother won't allow it, fearing repercussions from a society that sees bicycles as dangerous to a girl's virtue.   The quote is taken from scene 79 "Girls around here don’t ride bicycles, if you ride a bicycle you won’t get pregnant to get children"
