This lovely piece of Western propaganda creates the image of the ever so crazy and old Gaddafi using only the words and letters of the Diwani Jali Arabic calligraphy script. The words are from a poem that I wrote for this piece which translates into English as:

My end is freedom,
my reign, experience,
my struggle, a lesson,
my enemies, the just,
my successor, democracy.
My name is Muammar Gaddafi.
My end is freedom.

The poem can be read clearly once in Gaddafi’s hat, and once on his shoulders. It’s also written again several times in the face and hair but is more difficult to read in these areas because the words interweave with each other much more in these areas.
