The refrain of the anthem of Brittany “Bro Gozh ma Zadoù” (Old Land of My Fathers) is written seven times in the Diwani Jali Arabic to form the black stripes of the flag of Brittany, France. The ermine pelts of the flag are illustrated with the word “Brittany”.

Tra ma vo mor ‘vel mur ‘n he zro,
Ra vezo digabestr ma bro!

برطانة هي مملكة تابعة لإمبراطورية الفرنجة ولم تدم هذه المملكة لمدة طويلة فقد سقطت بسبب اضطرابات ونزاع على الخلافة.
في هذا العمل تم كتابة السطر الأول من النشيد الملكي(أرض آبائي القديمة) بالخط العربي الديواني الجلي كما في الكتابة التالية:
“برطانة يا وطني العزيز كم أحبك مادام البحر يحيطك كالسور كن حرا يا وطني برطانة”
تم تكرار هذه العبارة سبع مرات ليتم بذلك تشكيل الخطوط التي يتكون منها علم المملكة كما كُتب اسم المملكة “برطانة” 11 مرة ليحاكي شكل الحيوان “ابن عرس” الذي يُستَخدم كرمز مكرر في الزاوية العليا من زوايا العلم.

Le refrain de l’hymne de Bretagne « Bro Gozh ma Zadoù » (Ancienne Terre de Mes Pères) est écrit sept fois en scripture Arabe Diwani Jali pour former les bandes noires du drapeau de la Bretagne, France. Les peaux d’hermine du drapeau sont illustrées du mot « Bretagne ».

La Bretagne, mon pays que j’aime,
Tant que la mer, comme un mur t’entoure,
Mon pays sera-t-il libre !
